At the Twin Owls Steakhouse, image matters. This sign appears to be carved wood, unless you tap on it and have a trained ear- it's actually "foam". High Density Urethane is a superior alternative to wood signs when the wood grain doesn't need to be seen. This sign can be thrown into Lake Estes and will never take on water, warp, rot, crack or otherwise be affected by a little snow or rain.
Finished just like wood, only the owner knows that it's better than wood- because he won't have to do any maintenance on this sign, and it will keep looking good for years and years...
